I can’t tell you how excited I am about the Beachbody Bike and I’ll show you why it is a must-have addition to your workouts.

Do you love to go to a spin class but find it hard to get there? Or maybe you love Beachbody on Demand but miss getting to do spin class now that you are working out from home?

If that’s you, then the Beachbody Bike is for you!

The Beachbody Bike, formerly known as the MYX Bike II, connects to programs with Beachbody On Demand (BOD) and to live classes with BODi. That means you get endless workout options, personalized training, and more.

BODi Bike Features

The Beachbody Bike comes in your choice of white or black (How fun!).

It has a huge 21.5″ HD, 360 degree swiveling screen so that allows you to join a class and see yourself amongst the class in real-time. The swivel screen makes it easy to go from biking to floor workouts, so can mix cycling into your favorite HIIT or cardio workouts.

It comes with a Polar OH1 heart rate monitor and the bike monitors your speed, cadence, distance, and heart rate metrics. You can also connect your Apple Watch!

The bike is very solid and super sturdy. It provides a quiet smooth ride. When your mid-ride, you won’t have to worry about the bike feeling like it’s going to move on you.

If you’re worried about how much space the bike will take up, it has quite a small footprint. It measures approximate 3’4″ L and 1’7″ W, which is slightly smaller than a Peloton at 4′ L x 2′ W. Here is a picture of my bike in my workout space.

Beachbody’s Cycling Workouts

I received my Bodi bike back in September so I was one of the first to try the bike out on Beachbody on Demand. At the time there were only a few workouts, but since then new rides and workouts are constantly being added.

The workouts include normal high intensity spin classes, scenic rides in beautiful places all around the globe, and even fun themed rides like my personal favorite the Halloween costume ride.

So is the Beachbody Bike Worth it?

100% yes. For a premium spin bike, you can’t beat the cost for $1,399. It has a smaller footprint than its competitors.

Not only does it allow you to do the spin workouts, the 360 degree swivel screen allows you to do any workout that is on Beachbody on Demand. So if you have been using a laptop to access your Beachbody on Demand, you won’t need it any longer.

Have you ordered a bike yet? If so, how do you like it?

Hello! Thanks for the review. Question: with the small footprint, is the bike seat smaller as well? Is it less comfortable than those you might find in a spin class? Thanks!

    • Caroline Foster says:

Hey Jennifer, great question! From my personal experience from taking spin class at the YMCA and previously owning a cheaper spin bike, this seat is more comfortable. I don’t have the smallest butt, but I have never been sore after a workout. The dimensions of the seat are 10.5″ long x 7″ wide. Feel free to reach out to me by email if you have any other questions! caroline@fitforhisglory.co

The bike is great, the workouts and the trainers are awesome. I only have one concern,
My cadence monitor does not work. The device attached to the left peddle to monitor and record your speed hasn’t worked in months. I see it is only attached to the peddle post with 2- zip ties, is this something you need to replace batting in?
    Thank you,
    Carlyle
