I Got to Workout With Carrie Underwood!

I got to workout with Carrie Underwood as part of a collaboration with BODYARMOR sports drink and Carrie’s Fit52 fitness app.

If you are a fan of country music, there is a good chance you have seen a Carrie Underwood performance and thought to yourself, “I’d love to know what her leg workout looks like,” Am I right?

Living in Nashville and being a lifelong country music fan, I know that I have personally asked that question myself, because let’s be honest, her legs are goals.

Well little did I know I would find out the answer to that question the hard way when I got to be one of a small group of people who got the opportunity to do an in person workout with Carrie Underwood put on by her personal trainer, Eve Overland.

The Event

The workout took place at the Saint Elle in Nashville, which was the perfect place for the event.

I went with my friend Kelly Schwartz of @abraidedblonde on Instagram who was the whole reason I got the opportunity to go. Thanks Kell!

The event was put on by BODYARMOR in order to promote their line of LYTE sports drinks that are made with no artificial sweeteners and no sugar added, plus potassium-packed electrolytes and antioxidants.

There were a total of about 50 people at the workout and BODYARMOR and Fit52 gifted us with some cute gear and workout mats.

Meeting Carrie and Other Amazing Women

Before the workout started we got to meet Carrie and take a picture with her (as seen above). She was super sweet and very down to Earth! She is currently on tour so it was cool of her and her trainer to take time out of her busy schedule to do this event.

I was also able to meet several other amazing bloggers including @destineehobbsfit, @skhammer, @bredoddsmith and @jasminekatrina.

The Carrie Underwood Workout

The workout was pretty intense, which should come at no surprise. It lasted about forty five minutes and consisted of mostly core focused exercises, and leg building/burning.

My legs and core were toast by the end of it, but I felt pretty proud of myself because I got through it pretty well. But as I was giving myself a pat on the back for getting through the workout, Carrie’s trainer Eve told us that is basically a warm up for Carrie.

What!?! Mindblown…

So do my legs look like Carrie Underwoods now? Not quite! But I do have a newfound appreciation for how she stays in such incredible shape.

This was an experience I will never forget. All in all the event was great. I got to try the new BODYARMOR LYTE, meet Carrie Underwood, and get my booty kicked by her personal trainer.
